Capcoms kolde actionbasker

Mens opbakningen til den originale Xbox har været ekstrem moderat i Japan, så tager landets bedste udviklere godt imod Xbox 360, og det kan ses på det udvalg af spil, der i øjeblikket er i produktion til konsollen. Fra Capcoms side satses der på Keiji Inafunes Dead Rising, og ikke mindst Lost Planet, der blander ærkejapanske mechs med isende kulde og en handlekraftig helt, der også denne gang er som taget ud af virkeligheden.

Inafune har nemlig, som det var tilfældet med Onimusha-serien, kastet sin kærlighed på en skuespiller, i dette tilfælde det koreanske teenage-idol Lee Byung-Hun, der nyder stor succes hos den kvindelige del af Japans biografgængere. Lost Planet er efter sigende et decideret hidsig actionspil, hvor du det ene øjeblik lader dine pistoler tale, mens du det næste indtager en såkaldt Vital Suit for at udele mekaniske tæsk. Capcom truer endda med en omfattende multiplayerdel, der naturligvis afvikles over Xbox Live.
