Gas Powered Games er kendt af de fleste strategi- og rollespils-fanatikere. Det er holdet bag Supreme Commander og ikke mindst Dungeon Siege - og nu Demigod. Chris Taylor og resten af holdet afslører alt om spillet i det kommende nummer af det amerikanske spilmagasin Games for Windows, men allerede nu er de første informationer klar.

Demigod tager sin inspiration fra Warcraft III mod'et Defense of the Ancients, der griber strategi-genren lidt anderledes an. I Demigod står du ikke for den normale ressource indsamling, men spiller i stedet en af spillets mange demi-guder, der aktivt skal angribe og destruere modstanderens tropper. Nogle kan sagtens gå direkte ud på slagmarken alene, mens andre har brug for mindre kolonner af tropper for at klare sig. Imens tager spillet sig af mange af de mere normale opgaver.

Ifølge Gas Powered Games så er Demigod konstrueret til at blive spillet som et multiplayerspil, specielt med co-op for øje, og singleplayer delen vil derfor primært være en slags træningsbane, hvor du kan opbygge dine færdigheder og lære alle spillets facetter at kende.
