Gears of War når 5 millioner

Det fejres med en lækker special udgave

Der er ingen tvivl om at Gears of War-serien er et ægte trumfkort for Microsoft. Man behøver bare skele til salgstallene for Gears of War 2, der forleden nåede fem millioner, for at se hvor populære Marcus Fenix og resten af Delta-holdet af.

For at fejre denne milepæl, annoncerede Epic Games, at der er en special udgave af Gears of War 2 på vej. Firmaet har nemlig annonceret Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection, en pakke der indeholdet alt download-indhold, der indtil videre kan hentes på Xbox Live Marketplace samt den kommende Gears of War 2: Dark Corners.

Dark Corners er i øvrigt en udvidelse, der fylder syv nye multiplayerbaner på actionspillet samt en ny kampagne kaldet Road to Ruin, en bane der oprindelig skulle have været en del af Gears of War 2.

For dem der allerede har alt download-indhold og bare gerne vil have fat Gears of War 2: Dark Corners, så kan denne hentes online for 1600 Microsoft points.

Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection lanceres i butikkerne d. 28. juli. Vi ved endnu ikke om dette også er dagen, hvor Dark Corners lanceres online, men går stærkt ud fra det.
