Evo 2022 has officially wrapped up, and now that this is the case, all eyes are on the next Evo event and where and when that will be. Fortunately, Evo has already shared that information, as it has been announced that Evo Japan will be held between March 31 and April 2 in 2023.
As stated in a blog post, we're told that Evo Japan will be held in Tokyo and that Guilty Gear Strive, The King of Fighters XV, Street Fighter V, and Tekken 7 will all be present.
"It is joyous having Evo Japan return to Tokyo for the global fighting game community," said Rick Thiher, general manager of Evo. "Japan is the birthplace of competitive fighting games and we can't wait to open the doors at Tokyo Big Sight next spring to continue celebrating their legacy with players and fans worldwide."
Otherwise, it's noted that more games and events as part of the tournament will be announced over the coming months, as will registration for the event.
