Another ESL Pro League season has officially come to a close, and that means that we have yet another victor to report on. For the 16th season, the champion ended up being Team Vitality, who defeated Team Liquid in the grand finals, and therefore ended up going home with both $200,000 in prize money, but also spots in the BLAST World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
With this win in the books, the next time we'll be seeing Team Vitality will be at the IEM Road to Rio tournament over the next few years, which will take place a couple of weeks before the BLAST Premier Fall European Showdown in mid-late October.
