Cuba er ikke glade for Activisions nyeste afsnit i Call of Duty-serien, Call of Duty: Black Ops. En tidlig scene i spillet hvor Fidel Castro er i problemer har skabt kontroverser og nu skriver Cubadebate, et af statens medier, om det "perverse" actionspil (mindre spoiler-advarsel):
"This new video game is doubly perverse. On the one hand, it glorifies the illegal assassination attempts the United States government planned against the Cuban leader... And on the other, it stimulates sociopathic attitudes in North American children and adolescents."
I begyndelsen af Black Ops sendes man som spiller således gennem Havannas gader i et forsøg på at myrde Castro - som i virkeligheden er blevet udsat for mere end 600 mordforsøg.
"What the United States couldn't accomplish in more than 50 years, they are now trying to do virtually," skriver Cubadebate en smule kækt.
