Virtual Reality var på alles læber under GDC og vi mødtes med CEO for VR-firmaet nDreams, Patrick O'Luanaigh, for at diskutere de nye annonceringer, hvad de betyder for udviklingen og meget mere.

"We've been working on VR for just over 18 months now and doing a lot of work and finally it feels like momentum is there," says O'Luanaigh. "In the Olympics there are cycling races where they go really slowly and then suddenly somebody goes and they all go and it feels like that's happened now."

"We've tried tons of things from what's it like when your avatar has glasses and actually you can see the edges of the frames," siger O'Luanaigh. "What does that feel like? What does it feel like if you've got a tall avatar, a short avatar and you're actually tall or short in real life?"

"One of the advantages of getting in early is that you can get to talk to these guys and build relationships with them," forsætter han. "They're all different. All of the headsets are different. Mobile VR is quite different to PC and console VR."

Studiet, som er baseret i Farnborough Storbritannien, har allerede udgivet deres første projekt på Gear VR og planlægger at være blandt de største med The Assembly til Oculus Rift, HTC Vive og Project Morpheus.

"We announced The Assembly last year and that's going to be our first big VR game all of the major platforms," says O'Luanaigh. "So we'll be doing it for the Oculus, for Morpheus and the Vive as well. We'll be talking a lot more about that before E3, but it's a big adventure game designed with VR in mind. We've got a few other games lined up for those sort of platforms in development and also we just launched a couple of Gear VR games."
