Ligesom Xbox ejere fik Splinter Cell først, så står PS2 ejere nu til at få fingrene i Prince of Persia: Sands of Time og Beyond Good and Evil før alle andre. Ubi Soft har meddelt at begge er eksklusive på formatet - i hvert fald i en periode.
Alain Corre fra Ubi Soft knyttede følgende til annonceringen:
"Both these games uniquely showcase the fun of PlayStation 2 gaming. Following their enthusiastic reception at E3, there is already great consumer excitement building in anticipation of the launch of these exclusive PlayStation 2 games."
David Patton hos SCEE sagde følgende:
"We welcome Ubi Soft's decision to publish Prince of Persia and Beyond Good & Evil exclusively on PlayStation 2 during 2003. These games set new standards in console gaming and undoubtedly will broaden the appeal of PlayStation to new audiences"
Begge spil forventes på gaden til PS2 i november.
