The smartphone and online gaming market in the Asia Pacific region is arguably the largest in the world, and to capitalise on this, Mobile Games Event Management Corporation has created a competitive mobile gaming league which is set to be the largest in the Philippines.
The tournament series is due to kick off later in the year and will feature the likes of Vainglory, Hearthstone and Clash Royale, as well as boasting a total prize pool of PHP 10 million (roughly $200,000 US dollars).
Updates on registration dates and venues will be announced via the official Facebook page. How big do you think mobile esports can become?
