The first day of action has concluded at the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles and it was a big night for the home teams as LA Valiants swept rivals San Francisco Shock and the LA Gladiators did the same thing to Shanghai Dragons. Seoul Dynasty won a tightly contested game over Dallas Fuel 2-1 (the final match ending in a draw), and London Spitfire, the lone European team, took the win against Florida Mayhem (3-1). Philadelphia Fusion and New York Excelsior were the other two winning teams on the historic first night of action. Next up, the teams will face off against each other on Saturday as there will be two match-ups between winners, Seoul Dynasty and LA Gladiators, and London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion, which could give us an indication of what teams to really look out for.
