Esports organisation Immortals has announced today that it has established a mobile division called Immortals Mobile, and what's more is that this also comes with the reveal that they've acquired a roster in Arena of Valor, the incredibly popular mobile MOBA title.
Immortals CEO Noah Whinston said: "Mobile games represent the fastest growing segment of the gaming industry, and mobile esports are poised to benefit from that explosive growth. Today's announcement is another significant milestone for Immortals, and we are very excited to work with one of the industry's top mobile game publishers in Tencent to deliver phenomenal mobile gaming experiences to our fans."
This new roster is captained by Assassin Dave and they'll be playing for a slot at the upcoming Arena of Valor World Cup, which if you didn't know is due to pit the best of the best against each other in Los Angeles July for a $500,000 USD prize pool. The complete roster is due to be revealed at a later date, but we do know who's lead the entire division - mobile esports veteran Jeff 'SuiJeneris' Chau. SuiJeneris will be "overseeing competitive operations and strategy for the new division, reporting to Whinston and Immortals' President & COO, Ari Segal," according to the press release, which should be promising since he's worked with successful rosters in the past.

"Immortals brings competitiveness, extraordinary sportsmanship, and professionalism to the community. We look forward to working in partnership with Immortals to achieve something truly special."
