Argentina passes bill to bring esports into sports system

Although Argentinian esports teams aren't happy that they weren't consulted.
Sam Bishop 13 september 2018

Esports has been struggling for recognition from bigger sporting and governing bodies in the years it's been around, and now Olé reports (as brought to us by Twin Galaxies) that the Argentinian Association of Esports is helping to create a new bill to bring esports into the National Sports Law's system, although this would exclude violent games.

It's not all good news though, because a lot of Argentinian teams weren't talked to before this was created, and now there has been a lot of criticism directed at the bill, which excludes big games like CS:GO. People have even marched on the Argentina Congress to protest, and a big social media backlash has followed too.

Do you agree with the bill?
