Ovenpå pressemeddelelsen fra Take Two og 2K Games omkring spilmatiseringen af Dan Browns The Da Vinci Code, er der opstået en del fovirring omkring Charles Cecils rolle i projektet.
Betyder hans rolle på projektet at han ikke længere er hos engelske Revolution, der står bag klassikere som Broken Sword, Lure of the Temptress og Beneath a Steel Sky?. Ingenlunde, Charles hjælper bare The Collective med spillet. Han sagde bl.a. følgende til Eurogamer:
"To clarify any misunderstanding, I have not moved to LA to join The Collective. Indeed, rather than non-stop partying in Hollywood with celebrities like the delightful Audrey Tautou, I am very much still at Revolution Software in York. My role on the Da Vinci Code has been as a consultant, and it's a project I'm delighted to be involved with. It's given me the opportunity to work with many people in the film and video games industry that I respect."
I York, England arbejder Charles Cecil desuden på det fjerde Broken Sword-spil som THQ denne gang skal udgive. Det forventes på gaden engang sent i år 2006.
