Yesterday we reported on IEM Dallas and talked about Cloud9 who managed to once again get to the pinnacle of competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by winning another major event. But that wasn't the only tournament that took place in Dallas over the weekend, as ESL Impact Season 1 also wrapped up, and now we have the first ever victor for the women's league.
It was Nigma Galaxy Female that ended up taking the tournament, after managing to reverse sweep Furia Female in the grand finals. This win has seen the Nigma Galaxy squad taking home a pleasant $50,000 cash prize, and also sets the team up as the roster to beat heading into the next ESL Impact tournament, which is planned for July 1-3 and will be played in Valencia.
