Allegiance aren't leaving esports after all

They'll be returning to compete in Call of Duty: WWII.
Sam Bishop 1 september 2017

Back at the beginning of August, Allegiance announced that it would be closing as an esports organisation, with their attendance at the Call of Duty Championship in Orlando acting as their final appearance, however, they have now announced that they'll be returning for Call of Duty: WWII.

"After the impressive finish by the ALG Call of Duty squad in Orlando, we received many inquiries to revive Allegiance," the post reads. "Today we are excited to share we have received backing from a private group to continue our professional esports journey. Allegiance's first talent acquisition is one of the rosters that was under the brand prior to the closing."

This team comprises of Austin 'Believe' Smith, Dakota 'Nova' Williams, Mehran 'Mayhem' Anjomshoa, and Tristan 'Spoof' Green, and they did well enough to win $25,000 USD in Orlando. How good can they do in WWII though?
