BBC bekræfter comeback for Top Gear

Efter en vild rapport fra britisk tabloidpresse, så har BBC officielt bekræftet, at der arbejdes på et storstilet comeback for Top Gear, og det er, naturligvis, med et nyt sæt værter.

Rapporten nævnte også at Jimmy Carr er i forhandlinger om at indtage rollen som frontmand, og at der ledes efter yngre talenter, muligvis blandt indholdsskabere til at afbalancere. BBC har bekræftet et comeback via BBC News, men Ed Havard har ikke ville tale specifikt om værter:

"There has been a lot of speculation about this and we can confirm that Top Gear is coming back. I'm not going to talk about talent today," Havard continued. "Jimmy would be a great host but I won't be discussing that today. We will have more information on Top Gear shortly."
