Bella Ramsey var "fikseret" på at ligne Ellie i The Last of Us sæson 2

Mens Ashley Johnson bragte Ellie til live i The Last of Us-videospil, giver Bella Ramsey deres egen gengivelse af karakteren i HBO's serie. Med der allerede en Ellie, der er blevet sat på skærmen, ser det dog ud til, at presset er højt for Ramsey for at leve op til hende.

I en samtale med The Hollywood Reporter bekræftede Ramsey, at de havde været i intensiv træning for at spille Ellie i sæson 2 af The Last of Us.

"I got quite fixated on the way that Ellie looks in the game and her physical stature and, to be specific, the muscle definition in her arms. And I didn't look like that," siger Ramsey.

"My body type isn't that. I talked about this a lot with Craig [Mazin], and he never put that expectation on me. He wanted me to look strong and feel strong, and that was in how I carried myself, my posture and the confidence you have. It was a challenge for me to let myself off the hook for not looking computer-generated."

Ramsey har mødt kritik online for deres portræt af Ellie, da nogle mener, at de ikke ligner Ellie fra spillet. Dette fik til sidst skuespillerinden til at deaktivere deres sociale mediekonti.

"It wasn't like this big dramatic thing, but there was an element of it that was thinking about the show coming out for season two. If I just avoid Twitter and Reddit, which now I'm doing, then everything's totally fine."
