Vi ved allerede at Bungie arbejder på den helt nye IP, Matter, samtidig med at de ønsker at pumpe nyt indhold ind i Destiny 2. Men faktisk er omfanget på udviklingen af helt nye spil, altså ikke nyt Destiny-indhold, større end først antaget.
Mere specifikt siger Bungie CEO Pete Parsons til Metro, at studiet faktisk har arbejdet på helt nye spil i over tre år.
"So we started about three years ago, Jason [Jones] and Jonny Ebbert and Zach Russell and a few of us started working on new incubations. The way to think about that is not just on new games. I think that is often the parlance people use. Actually a process around how we want to incubate the potential for new titles, but more importantly, new and amazing talent."
Dog slår han fast, at de ideer de har kastet rundt i brede træk bliver skrottet, men det lader til at der er flere ting i støbeskeen.
