Chicago Huntsmen rebranded as OpTic Chicago

The green wall is back in competitive Call of Duty, with H3CZ once again involved.

The Chicago Huntsmen Call of Duty League team has rebranded to become OpTic Chicago, following Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez re-acquisition of the OpTic namesake. After being known as the Huntsmen for one season, the Illinois-based team will take up the OpTic green mantle, since the OpTic Los Angeles team has now become the LA Thieves (following 100 Thieves purchase of its CoD League slot).

OpTic and Call of Duty esports have a long history with one another, seeing plenty of podium finishes for the brand name. The OpTic Chicago roster will look to continue on that trend of success, using the Huntsmen's 2021 announced roster to do so. That roster features:

- Brandon "Dashy" Otell
- Dylan "Envoy" Hannon
- Matthew "FormaL" Piper
- Seth "Scump" Abner
