Fans af Mario-spil kender til Game Over-skærmen hver gang Mario måtte stille træskoene, men i et tweet fra den japanske Super Mario Odyssey Twitter profil, afslører de, at den Game Over-skærm hører fortiden til.
"No matter how many times he fails, there is no Game Over" siger tweeted - som blev oversat af Polygon. Game Over bliver skiftet ud med mønter, så nu vil du mister mønter, når du tidligere ville miste livet.
"We also wanted people to be able to, you know, you get into a kingdom and you can just kind of continually keep going through that kingdom without being pulled out, so that was why we kind of wanted to get rid of the lives idea" forklarer producer Yoshiaki Koizumi.
