Diablo IV vil få årlige udvidelser

Diablo 4's general manager Rod Fergusson har bekræftet, at spillet vil få årlige udvidelser udviklet af Blizzard selv.

I et interview med Dexerto talte Fergusson om, at flere udvidelser er på vej, og planerne er at udgive en om året.

"But, you know, it's years and years," fortalte Fergusson om planerne for Diablo IV."That's the thing we're focused on. When you look at the launch of the game and this first season, we see that as building a foundation on which we can build for the future. So, as we look at our quarterly seasons, and we look at our annual expansions, those are the things that we're really focused on for our live service."

"We've got plans, we have storylines that go well into the future. We've got plans. We're always leapfrogging our seasons, and leapfrogging our expansions, so it's something we are going to do for a long time. We're excited."

Så vi får ikke bare udvidelser, men også kvartalsvise sæsoner til at holde os i gang. Forhåbentlig betyder det, at selv hvis vi skal vente 11 år mere på Diablo V, så vil der være rigeligt med indehold til at holde os beskæftigede.
