Wii Music var bestemt ikke hvad vi havde håbet på, men alligevel kunne noget nu tyde på at en efterfølger, med et helt nyt interface er på vej. Det fortæller Shigeru Miyamoto til Techland.
"There's a lot of potential still in Wii Music, I think. Because we're going to change it up, a new interface is coming, and all of that."
Det lyder endda til at der er mulighed for at Mario vil være med i Wii Music 2, i stedet for kun Mii-figurerne:
"If we get more people to understand what's going on in the game concept, then he might appear in the game."
