Kieran Holmes-Darby, one of the co-founders of the esports organisation Excel Esports has revealed that he will now be operating as the gaming director at Formula E. Revealed in a Twitter post, Holmes-Darby is expected to be overseeing gaming experiences for Formula E and is set to be working to help grow the motorsport's gaming products, as Esports Insider reports.
"For me, being able to bring my expertise into the sporting world is an absolute dream," said Holmes-Darby in a tweet. "Formula E are so incredibly well-placed to capitalise on the blending of the physical & digital worlds and I am thrilled to be able to bring gamified experiences to motorsport fans!"
Other than these pieces of information, it was also mentioned by Holmes-Darby that he will be attending the upcoming Mexico City E-Prix as part of his new role, when it takes place on February 12.
