Following the use of an anti-Semitic slur on a stream, FaZe Clan has cut ties with NBA player Meyers Leonard. The esports organisation has released a statement regarding the incident on Twitter that also announced the decision to sever its relationship with the athlete.
"We were incredibly disappointed to hear Meyers' stream today," reads the statement from FaZe. "FaZe does not tolerate hate speech or discriminatory language of any kind. While Meyers is not a member of FaZe, we are cutting ties with him.
The community has so much growing to do. Let's be better together."
Meyers Leonard has yet to issue a response.
