It's becoming increasingly common to see esports organisations locking up players for extended amounts of time, in the form of lengthy contracts that tie them to the team for years and years. That's precisely what Fnatic has done with a couple of its Valorant stars.
As revealed in a Twitter post, the esports team has officially signed extensions with Jake "Boaster" Howlett and Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev, with the pair tied to the team until 2025 and 2026 respectively.
This of course comes as the Valorant Champions event started a couple of days ago, the premier event for the professional Valorant calendar year, and a tournament that Fnatic is currently competing in.
