Russian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports organisation, forZe eSports has been caught up in a scrim recording incident. The team is already experiencing backlash after hiring Aleksandr "zoneR" Bogatiryev, who has received a 36-month long ban from ESL, after abusing a coaching bug.
This next controversy sees the team once again in the firing line, following a discovery from MAD Lions head coach, Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu, who found the team using recording software during scrims without the permission of their opponents.
The recording software, GOTV was noticed, and tweeted by Tadeu, who said in a follow-up tweet; "We play each other in Flashpoint like... IDK [I don't know] this just doesn't feel right at all... pretty disappointing."
While there are no rules specifically stating you cannot record scrims without permission, it is often regarded as an unspoken rule among teams. forZe eSports coach, Sergey "LMBT" Bezhanov has replied to Tadeu's tweet, saying; "Already working on banning it from the server forever. I don't have an admin panel there so the manager is on it."
