Ghost Recon Phantoms lukker ned

Free-to-play spillet Ghost Recon Phantoms lukker snart. Spillet udkom i 2012 på PC, og lukningen skyldes nedadgående popularitet, da spillet har i gennemsnit omkring 800 aktive spillere.

Ubisoft har skrevet på Steam vedrørende spillets nedlukning:

"After more than four years of battles, fights, deaths and a lot of fun, we have made the difficult decision to close Ghost Recon Phantoms. It's a tough day for our studio and indeed the team, some of whom have been working on this project since its inception some 7 years ago,"

Ubisoft har ingen planer om refundering af penge investeret i spillet, ej heller kompensation.
