Gran Turismos instruktør Kazunori Yamauchi har bekræftet, at det kommende Gran Turismo Sport hverken vil understøtte dynamisk tid eller vejr under et løb. Yamauchi fortalte via et interview med GTPlanet, at intet vil ændre sig under et løb, og at valget kun ligger hos spilleren:
"We opted to not have the transitions in the race this time in order to raise the framerate and the quality of the image during the race. No need to be alarmed though. According to him players will be able to have "night races, morning, races at dawn, dusk, and so on."
Gran Turismo Sport udkommer d. 18 november på PlayStation 4.
