Vi tog for nylig en længere snak med Hearts of Iron IV-hoveddesigneren Dan Lind, for at finde ud af hvodan det gøre med spillet, og hvad forsinkelsen har betydet for strategispillet der foregår under anden verdenskrig.
"We're a bigger company now and we can afford to do these things, so instead of releasing something with more bugs and less iteration polish, now we can actually delay that. I think what this will actually lead to is new DLC. So if you compare it to say Hearts of Iron III, the first couple [of DLCs] were - very large part of them - were fixing problems rather than adding new cool stuff. So what I think you'll see with Hearts of Iron IV is that we will have more cool stuff rather than having to fix things."
We ser selvfølgelig frem til "more cool stuff", men vi måtte dog spørge ind til, hvornår vi kan se frem til at få fingrene i spillet:
"I have a little mental [release date], but we're not going to say anything until we're completely locked in this time, because we really don't want to disappoint people by moving any dates ever again. So this one, when we say it, it's going to stick."
