Vi har fået en snak med executive producer Randy Greenback for at tale om deres open world apokalyptiske zombie-spil Breach & Clear: Deadline.
"It's a sequel to the original Breach & Clear," siger Greenback. "It's a pseudo-sequel, an off-shot really. So the original Breach & Clear was a topdown turn-based tactical game, but it was mission based. So like you said we're fans of open world games, we're also fans of tactics so when we were starting work on Deadline we're like what do we want to do? Well, let's take it from mission based to open world. Let's also hasten the battles a little bit and add an action mode as well."
Spillet byder både på kampe med zombier, større muterede zombie "bosses" og menneskelige fjender (som prøver at stjæle dit gear).
"Fighting the zombies... is all about pressure for physical space," says Greenback. "They'll surround you so you have to fall back. It messes up your planning. The monsters, the giant creatures, you have to outthink them, some of them are like boss battles. But the humans are a really cool part of the game. That's where tactics really, really matter. Because they're using guns against you. They're using cover. They're trying to outflank you and outsmart you and you're doing the same thing back to them."
Breach & Clear: Deadline kan fås allerede nu igennem Steam Early Access.
