Marvels nye Fantastic Four-plakater er en dejlig tur ned ad memory lane

Den 25. juli kommer Marvel Studios' kommende nyfortolkning af The Fantastic Four i biograferne med den altid travle Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian) i en af hovedrollerne.
Filmen har til formål at kickstarte og reboote den elskede tegneserie med et nyt bud og vælger ikke at følge i fodsporene på tidligere filmatiseringer.

For at skabe hype har Marvel Studios nu udgivet fem unikke karakterplakater med et retro-inspireret design, der tydeligt trækker indflydelse fra klassiske samlerkort. Plakaterne viser Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) og holdets robotledsager, H.E.R.B.I.E. I betragtning af at filmen foregår i en parallel version af 1960'erne, føles plakaterne spot-on i både tone og stil.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, the film follows Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus' plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren't bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
