His contract with the team was originally extended back in September.

Despite the Toronto Ultra Call of Duty League team only extending the contract of Anthony "Methodz" Zinni on September 1, the organisation and Methodz have decided to part ways.

Revealed over Twitter, the Ultra didn't give an exact reason for why Methodz is leaving, but did state, "A man of many names and many amazing memories we shared together. Thank you for the smiles, love, and clutches you brought to Toronto Ultra. Best of luck in your next adventure".

Following up to this, Methodz also posted a tweet where he said, "Thank you Toronto. Thank you to Ultra, their staff, my former teammates, and most importantly, the fans & supporters who had my back every step of the way. I'm going to miss your city more than you know and I couldn't be more grateful for my experience up North. Until next time".

Even with Methodz moving on, the Ultra does still have the necessary four player roster, as well as a substitute, meaning it is still ready to compete when the Call of Duty League returns in 2022.
