MLG co-founder joins 100 Thieves' board of directors

Mike Sepso joins the team and the growing list of big names teaming up with Matthew 'Nadeshot' Haag's organisation.

100 Thieves is still a relatively new organisation when it comes to esports, but already founder Matthew 'Nadeshot' Haag has partnered with big names like Drake. Now they've got another big name to add, as Major League Gaming co-founder Mike Sepso has joined the board of directors, as reported by TechCrunch.

"Mike is the godfather of esports," said Haag. "The most influential thing that happened in my career was seeing Halo 2 competitions on Major League Gaming on TBS on the weekends. It was just mind-blowing that kids like me could play games competitively."

Sepso has a ton of experience in the esports space, from MLG to becoming an executive at Overwatch League team New York Excelsior, so he has plenty to bring to the table at 100 Thieves, who are busy competing in the likes of Call of Duty and League of Legends.

Is this a good partnership?
