Variety has reported that the Hight School Esports League (HSEL) if offering MSI peripherals valued at over $174,000 USD collectively during the Spring Major competitions, running between March 18 and May 26.
The top eight teams across all of the games will get an Interceptor DS300 mouse, a Siberian headset, and a GK-701 keyboard. This is on top of their qualification for the Summer Invitational, and the winning teams for each game will get an MSI Esports Arena for their schools too, featuring 12 gaming PCs split between six GE63 Raider laptops and six Trident X desktops.
"We started HSEL because when we were in high school, we dreamed about having school-approved competitions for our favorite games with trophies, varsity letters, college scholarships, and prizing," said Mason Mullineaux, co-founder and CEO of High School Esports League. "Now we have over 1,500 partnered high schools across North America delivering on that dream for today's students — and MSI's massive contribution to our Spring Major prize pool is just more proof that the foundation for tomorrow's esports superstars is in today's high school gamers."
The supported games include League of Legends, CS:GO, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Rainbow Six: Siege, Super Smash Bros. 4 and Ultimate, Fortnite, and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
