Yesterday evening marked the conclusion of yet another major event in the esports calendar, as the BLAST Premier 2021 World Finals came to a close. After a few days of intense competition, featuring eight of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams from around the world, the event came to its close with a grand final seeing Natus Vincere taking on Gambit Esports.

After a competitive three maps, the winner was decided, with NA'VI managing to knock out Gambit in a 2-1 fashion. With this being one of the larger CS:GO events of the year, this saw NA'VI walk away with $500,000 in prize money, as well as the title of World Champions, further adding to the team's streak of victories as of late, which most recently saw them also crowned as BLAST Premier: Fall Finals and PGL Major Stockholm champions.

With this event in the books, the next event in the competitive CS:GO calendar will see NA'VI heading to Poland to compete in the Intel Extreme Masters: Katowice event in February.
