Fast X står til at blive slutningen på den episke saga som vi kender den, og den instruktør der har ledt vejen frem igennem de sidste par film har været Justin Lin. Men på overraskende vis har han valgt at takke nej til instruktøransvaret på Fast X.
Via Twitter, som du kan se herunder, har Lin bekræftet, at han bliver siddende som producer, men at han nu giver ansvaret videre til en endnu ukendt instruktør. Det er rimelig sent i processen, og ganske uventet:
"With the support of Universal, I have made the difficult decision to step back as director of FAST X, while remaining with the project as a producer. Over 10 years and five films, we have been able to shoot the best actors, the best stunts, and the best damn car chases."
"I am proud of helping to build the most diverse franchise in movie history. I will forever be grateful to the amazing cast, crew and studio for their support, and for welcoming me into the FAST family."
