Nej, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II er på sin vis ikke som sådan blevet afsløret endnu. Jo, Activision har nævnt det overfor deres investorer, men der findes endnu ingen trailer eller detaljer om spillet. Alligevel har det nu fået en udgivelsesdato.
Via Twitter har Infinity Ward bekræftet, at spillet lander d. 28 oktober. Desuden har de også, via en række efterfølgende beskeder, fremvist det centrale cast bestående af Captain John Price, Sgt. John "Soap" MacTavish, Sgt. Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley og Colonel Alejandro Vargas.
