Senere på ugen får Black Adam endelig premiere, og til trods for at der er et stort budget, og en gigantisk stjerne i form af Dwayne Johnson til stede på lærredet, så lader den kritiske modtagelse ikke til at blive et slam dunk.
Det skal siges at den egentlige anmeldelsesembargo endnu ikke er udløbet, men den såkaldte "Social Media Embargo" er for de primært amerikanske medier der har set filmen til diverse pressevisninger.
Vi har samlet et udpluk fra forskellige kritikere, og hvorimod der er nogle der er meget begejstrede, så lader den samlede respons til at være lettere blandet:

Black Adam was a great watch, I enjoyed seeing all of the characters interact and I liked seeing how they navigated the grey area that #BlackAdam operates in and @TheRock does so amazingly. Dr Fate and Hawkman were brilliant & it was amazing seeing their characters come to life!

#BlackAdam is a worthy new piece of the DC puzzle, but not the savior it promised. A surprising compressed timeline keeps the action exciting & pace propulsive, but also turns its many (many) themes, plots, & characters into fancy window dressing.
