Et af spillene, der udkommer i forbindelse med lanceringen af Wii U, er en ny version af Trine 2. Den Wii-eksklusive udgave af spillet er et såkaldt Director's Cut, der byder på en masse nye godter som de forrige udgaver ikke har haft med.
Udvidelsen The Goblin Menace vil også indgå i Wii U-versionen, sammen med en ny spiltype kaldet Magic Mayhem. Nedenstående oplysninger fra Neogaf fortæller lidt om hvad vi kan forvente os:
