Ray Liotta, der døde i maj sidste år, medvirkede i mange succesfulde film såsom Cop Land og Goodfellas, ligesom han lagde stemme til Tommy Vercetti i Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Nu er det så kommet frem, takket være et nyligt publiceret interview i filmediet Deadline, der oprindeligt blev lavet i 2019, at Liotta kunne have haft en anden stor rolle. Han blev nemlig tilbudt at spille Batman i Tim Burtons superheltefilm fra 1989 - en rolle, der i stedet gik til Michael Keaton.
"My agent called me up and said, 'Tim Burton would like to meet you. He's doing a movie, Batman.' There were never any superhero movies then. That was pretty much the first one. I said, 'Are you f*cking nuts? Batman?!' I'm going, 'No, that's stupid.' Who was stupid? I was stupid because I didn't know," fortalte Liotta.
