Det kommende 3DS-spil Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon kan indeholde en multiplayer-del, til trods for at spillet hidtil kun er blevet beskrevet som singleplayer. På spillets officielle side finder vi følgende beskrivelse:
"With so many new places to explore, all new ways to capture ghosts, and a brand new local multiplayer mode, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is another star turn for Mario's heroic brother-and it's only on Nintendo 3DS."
Nintendo har ikke sagt andet om sagen, så indtil videre må vi vente med at høre hvad denne spiltype handler om.
