I samarbejde med Antstream Arcade, har Xbox ud af det blå lanceret servicen Retro Classics, som nu er tilgængelig for alle med Game Pass.
Retro Classics byder fra starten af på mere end 60 klassiske spil fra Activision fra 1980'erne og 1990'erne, fra blandt andet Atari 2600, SNES, Amiga, PlayStation og PC-DOS. Fra start er der for eksempel adgang til spil som Chopper Command, Mechwarrior 2, Pitfall, Police Quest og Commando.
Xbox vil i de kommende måneder tilføje flere spil til tjenesten fra både Activision og Blizzard og over tid vil der være mere end 100 klassiske spil.

Retro Classics indeholder leaderboards, challenge modes, community challenges, Xbox Achievements og det er muligt at gemme ens spil, så man kan spille videre på et senere tidspunkt. Retro Classics tjenesten er tilgængelig via Game Pass på Xbox, PC, via streaming på LG og Samsung Smart TV, Amazon Fire og via Meta Quest headsets.
