Polske People Can Fly har annonceret, at de har droppet to spil-projekter, som gik under navnene Project Gemini og Project Bifrost. På samme tid meddeler de, at teamet vil "be scaling down" og det betyder fyringer.
Project Gemini er et endnu ikke annonceret spil, som blev udviklet for Square Enix og grunden til at det er blevet droppet, er hovedsageligt fordi Square Enix ganske enkelt ikke har virket investeret i projektet og derfor ikke har været synlige undervejs. Sådan lyder det meget i den officielle melding fra People Can Fly CEO, Sebastian Wojciechowski:
The suspension of the Gemini project is a consequence of the fact that the Publisher has not presented us with a draft of the subsequent content rider to the Publishing Agreement covering the terms and conditions of further milestones on Project Gemini and the lack of communication from the Publisher as to its willingness to continue or terminate the Gemini project.

Project Bifrost var et endnu ukendt VR-projekt, som røg med ned i faldet, da Project Gemini blev droppet: "Project Bifrost was suspended due to the above and the analysis of the Group's cash flow, which showed a lack of prospects for securing organisational resources and funds necessary to continue the production and release of this project."
Det uundgåelige resultat af ovenstående er, at der er fyringer på vej i det polske studie, som allerede har været hårdt ramt den seneste tid. I april sidste år blev Project Dagger aflyst efter flere år under udvikling, og tilbage i december 2024 blev 120 medarbejdere fyret.

Arbejdet på Gears of War: E-Day fortsætter som planlagt hos People Can Fly, og det samme gør et nyt uannonceret spil, som udvikles i samarbejde med Sony og PlayStation.
People Can Fly er nok bedst kendt for spil som Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment og Outriders.
