Kojima Productions har annonceret Death Stranding Isolations (arbejdstitel), som er animeret TV-serie, produceret at E&H Production og den udkommer eksklusivt på Disney+ i 2027.
Serien indeholder en original historie om en ung kvinde og en mand, som begiver sig ud på et stort eventyr. Serien kommer til at gå i samme fodspor som Death Stranding spillene og det vil afbilde verden gennem "a bold and yet subtle touch and top-class hand-drawn animation."
Somewhere in North America, just as Sam Bridges walks through the continent in order to save America, the others are also trying to deal with their isolation in their own way. An old man trying to realize salvation through ways outside of the connection advocated by Bridges. A female warrior who tries to kickstart a world of constant fighting. A boy with a grudge against Bridges. A girl who embraces loneliness.

Bag serien står E&H Production fra Japan, som er et ungt og fremadstormende animationsstudie, som blev stiftet i 2021 af tidligere MAPPA director og animator Sunghoo Park. I spidsen for produktionen står Takayuki Sano fra E&H. Hideo Kojima vil fungere som executive producer.
Death Stranding Isolations udkommer eksklusivt på Disney+ i 2027.
