Julian Gerighty har gjort en massiv forskel for Massive de seneste mange, mange år, og har leveret en række store spiloplevelser fra studiet. Faktisk var han i fuld gang med at lede holdet bag The Division 3, men det er nu tydeligt at han ikke kommer til at gøre det her projekt færdig.
Gerighty har nemlig bekræftet at han nu forlader Massive og Ubisoft for at slutte sig til Battlefield Studios i en endnu uspecificeret rolle.
"While we'll miss him, his mark will live on at Massive and we'll continue to bring the world he's been part of creating to our players for years to come," skriver Ubisoft om sagen.
Gerighty selv mener dog at The Divison 3, og franchisen generelt, har et langt liv foran sig selv uden ham ved roret:
"It's time for me to hang up my go bag (keeping the watch) as I go on another grand adventure. The Division future burns bright, and I can't wait for you to discover what the teams have been working on."
