Splinter Cell: Blacklist er det sjette spil i hovedserien om Sam Fisher og hans spionhold, og spillet indeholder en co-op-del for to personer. Dem, der spiller Blacklist på Wii U, må dog undvære at spille co-op med en ven i sofaen.
Producer Liu Jun forklarer hvorfor i et interview med Nintendo Life:
"In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren't able to delve into this feature. But we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles."
Wii U-ejerne vil dog kunne spille multiplayer og co-op online som alle andre.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist udkommer den 22. august på PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 og Wii U.
