I et interview med Red Bull (ja, energidrikken) fortæller EA-bossen Andrew Wilson, at selskabet vil satse mere på esport fremover.
"...what eSports does either through the playing of the game or watching people play the game is really bring people together around great, creative entertainment. I actually think it's going to continue to grow."
Wilson siger også, at både EA's sportsspil og andre titler kan komme i tale omkring esportssatsninger.
"We have some ready-made franchises for this in our sports properties, but we also have a number of other franchises that people may not typically think about as eSports opportunities, but we think there might be an opportunity in the future, so it's something that you're going to see more of from us."
