Den største overraskelse på Gamescom i sidste uge var nok Microsofts bombe om, at Rise of the Tomb Raider er Xbox-eksklusiv, i hvert fald ved lanceringen og formodentlig i en rum tid derefter.
En person, der ikke vidste noget om den eksklusivaftale, er Shuhei Yoshida fra Sony Worldwide Studios. I et interview med Eurogamer sige han:
"It's very interesting the way Phil Spencer said, what we are saying is, in holiday 2015 Tomb Raider is exclusive to Xbox. So it's open to interpretation. But still, we didn't anticipate something like this would happen."
Yoshida siger, at han håber spillet vil udkomme til PS4 på et tidspunkt, men at han ikke ved noget konkret om det.
"I hope the game will come out eventually on PS4. But how can I tell? Other than that cryptic message by Phil Spencer."
