Don Mattrick har efterladt sin sin chefstilling hos Zynga, bare to år efter at han overtog positionen fra Mark Pincus.
GamesIndustry kan i den forbindelse fortælle, at Mattrick har været presset af firmaets store tab, imens han har været chef for firmaet.
"I am proud of the progress we have made together. I believe the timing is now right for me to leave as CEO and let Mark lead the company into its next chapter given his passion for the founding vision and his ability to couple our mobile progress with Zynga's unique strengths."
Hvad Mattrick vil foretage sig nu vides endnu ikke, men han har dog bekræftet, at hans næste opgave ligger i Canada. Pincus indtager nu chefstillingen for Zynga igen.
Mattrick tog jobbet i juli 2013 efter at have smuttet fra Microsoft, grundet den mildest talt blandede modtagelse den originale Xbox One-annocering fik blandt fans.
