Sony Computer Entertainment og Sony Network Entertainment, der tidligere har været to separate enheder under Sony-fanen, forenes nu til ét samlet firma under navnet Sony Interactive Entertainment. Samtidig vil Sony bevare deres forretningskontorer i både Tokyo og London.
